Yesteryear Village

Yesteryear Village is a historical reenactment village that is attached to the South Florida Fair Grounds.  The hunters cabin was interesting it was full of all kinds of tools, trinkets, skins, and hides. They also had a huge stuffed boar hanging outside they cooking area where they cooked. When I ventured off into the town square they had children doing different Native American dancing, I believe they did a “Bear Dance” depicting the hunting of bear and the thanks to the sprits. they then did a dance that would have involved the young girls and boys of the tribe.  There will be more on the fair to come so watch out for them…Enjoy!
